What began as a modest ⅓-acre property was transformed into a 2.5-acre estate through thoughtful planning and adjacent lot acquisitions. HMWhite’s master plan reconciled complex topography and irregular property lines to create a seamless, richly layered landscape experience.
At the core is a central lawn framed by a stately English Oak hedgerow, offering privacy and spatial clarity. A fluid sequence of outdoor rooms including a pool terrace, dining pergola, woodland grotto, and hidden garde —unfolds across the site, linked by stone paths and unified by a native planting palette. Mature preserved Oaks and Maples were integrated as natural landmarks, while new woodland borders restore ecological continuity with increased privacy.
Seasonal bulbs, ground covers, and native shrubs provide dynamic interest while reinforcing the estate’s structure. Brick and stone masonry elements, terraces, and lawns extend interior living into the garden, dissolving boundaries between architecture and landscape.
The result is a refined, immersive retreat—both timeless and deeply personal.
